Capt. Phil Risko
Capt. Phil is the Senior Captain and Franchise Owner of Northstar Marine Inc. Sea Tow SIC/CM/Del Bay. Founded in Sea Isle City in March of 1990, Phil began with one 26-foot boat - Northstar #1 - that is still in service today. Phil has expanded his fleet to nine boats that cover the New Jersey coastal area from Strathmere to Cape May and the entire Delaware Bay.
Phil currently oversees the daily operations of the marine towing and salvage portion of the business as well as the oil spill response side of the company that operates as Northstar Marine, Inc. Phil has been a licensed captain for 15 years and currently holds a 100-ton USCG Master Near Coastal License with Commercial Assistance Towing and Sailing endorsements.
